Tune-in-a-Tube Airgun Lubricant will never replace the results you can achieve by performing a full tear down and rebuild of your airgun. But, it can take a good shooting gun and make it that much better. Make sure that your gun is operating correctly BEFORE you use Tune-in-a-Tube. The best way to know if your gun is working correctly is to test its performance with a known pellet over a chronograph. If your results are relatively close to established parameters, then Tune-in-a-Tube may be a great tool to improve your shooting experience. If however, your results do NOT meet established parameters or the extreme spread is excessive, then you may need to have your gun professionally serviced before attempting to use Tune-in-a-Tube.

Tune-in-a-Tube Airgun Lubricant is designed to be applied through the cocking slot in the compression chamber of your spring powered airgun. Please do not attempt to dismantle the internal components of your airgun. Doing so will most likely void any and all manufacturer’s warranties.

It is a proprietary automotive/industrial lubricant with a low order of toxicity and irritancy. The product is formulated with ingredients that are not designed to be harmful to the ozone.

Tune-in-a-Tube Airgun Lubricant INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Test your airgun prior to using Tune-in-a-Tube Airgun Lubricant. If your airgun is working properly, then continue with these instructions. If your airgun is NOT working properly, then contact your airgun’s manufacture for service and DO NOT continue.
  2. Start with a clean and safe work area.
  3. Make sure you have a way to properly secure your airgun, i.e. gun rest, etc.
  4. Follow the manufacturer’s directions to remove the stock from your airgun.
  5. Locate the cocking slot in the compression tube.
  6. Visually examine the spring and other mechanics for any apparent mechanical defects or foreign materials in the tube. If anything looks out of place, STOP IMMEDIATELY and contact your airgun’s manufacturer for service and DO NOT CONTINUE.
  7. If everything looks correct, then apply Tune-in-a-Tube Airgun Lubricant in thin strands along the exposed spring coils. Be sure to insert the applicator between the coils to lubricate the bottom side of the chamber and spring coils. You can also lubricate other contact and wear points.
  8. Reinstall the stock to your gun, making sure to double check that all the stock screws are properly tightened.
  9. Work the lubricant into your gun by shooting it about 30 to 50 shots.
  10. Retest your gun for smoothness and shot consistency.
